Our beginnings

HANAH MARIAH s.r.o. is a family-run company with roots in sunny Italy – a country synonymous with fine fabrics and fashion. It was Italy that inspired us to open a specialist store dedicated to premium European dress fabrics.

And because we know that exceptional branded fabrics are also created in France, they naturally form an integral part of our collection. Every fabric is hand-selected. We specialise in cashmere and wool fabrics, pure silk, high-quality cotton, noble fibres and cutting-edge textile innovations.

The story of our first PAR EXCELLENCE fabric boutique dates back to 2000. From the very beginning, our goal was to bring fabrics from world-renowned designers and respected European mills to the Czech market.

The launch of our online store was a natural next step. We were among the first to offer a complete service for these exclusive fabrics, including free fabric samples and delivery within 48 hours.

Over time, we listened closely to our customers and expanded our range to include accessories that perfectly complement a finished outfit. Here too, we follow the same philosophy – quality, design and timeless appeal.

Today

Our clients include thousands of discerning fashion enthusiasts who understand that the highest level of dressing lies in made-to-measure tailoring. We also work closely with tailoring studios and fashion designers who prioritise the finest materials in their creations. PAR EXCELLENCE boutique

The feedback from our customers truly motivates us. We often hear that such exceptional, distinctive fabrics – and in such quantities, readily available – are hard to find elsewhere. That is exactly what we strive for.

For everyone who needs to see, feel and truly experience a fabric, we opened a new, significantly larger brick-and-mortar store in Prague in May 2021, designed around a modern and intuitive retail concept.

We are always happy to advise you on selecting a fabric that best suits your chosen cut and personal style. Naturally, we also explain proper care, so your garment remains beautiful for many years to come.

Sustainability

We care deeply about the impact our business has on the planet. We believe that even small, everyday decisions can make a real difference – especially when they are made consistently and with intention.

Packaging materials are a major source of unnecessary waste. That’s why we’ve chosen a different approach – one that is more responsible, practical and respectful of the resources we all share.

We don’t use brand-new boxes with custom printing. Instead, we give a second life to boxes that have already served their purpose, but would otherwise end up as waste. Each reused box helps reduce unnecessary consumption and keeps valuable materials in circulation for a little longer.

The same principle applies to our packing tape with misprinted designs, and to all other packaging materials we use – which are made exclusively from recycled paper. For us, sustainability should never come at the expense of functionality, and these materials deliver both.

These may seem like small steps, but we believe their combined impact truly matters. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.

Responsibility

We have a long-standing partnership with children's homes. We provide not only financial support, but above all, meaningful activities through which children develop their creativity and practical skills.

The children decorate our recycled paper bags using collages made from fashion magazines and fabric remnants. Each bag is a unique original and bears the name of its author.

For the children, it is a fun experience, a space for self-realisation, and an opportunity to develop manual dexterity, patience, and an eye for detail. For us, it is a natural way to give back value.
